The Kids Meal

A California county on Tuesday became the first in the nation to ban toys from fast food kids' meals high in calories, fat, salt and sugar.Santa Clara County supervisors voted 3-2 to ban the plastic goodies as promotions in meals with more than 485 calories.

I believe that this is not such a bad idea because it will make the companies think more about making their kids meals better for the kids that eat at these fast food restaurants. I also believe this will persuade a child to pick a healthier meal for themselves and maybe in the longterm make healthier choices in their meals for the rest of the lives. This is why i believe this may be a good idea to fight against childhood obesity.

    I agree that this ban of toys in kids meal will have an affect on the fast food companies. And will deffinately bring to light the promotion of unhealthy foods to children just to recieve a toy. This also could help the fight with childhood obesity.
