Oil Problem

Oil company BP says it has resumed pumping oil to a ship on the surface after a weekend setback that halted efforts to siphon off the crude spewing from a damaged well at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. successful, the technique will capture most of the oil that is pouring out of the well. The well has been spewing an estimated 210,000 gallons, or 5,000 barrels, of light sweet crude a day into the Gulf since the sinking of the drill platform Deepwater Horizon in late April.

Well I believe it is about time that their has been a solution to this oil leaking problem. It seems that someone out there would of came up with an idea to solve this problem way before this disaster happened. its has been weeks since they finally came up with this idea to solve the leaking oil problem. This just now starting to help the environmental problems that will hurt the ocean life in the gulf.

This week, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration began restricting for 10 days commercial and recreational fishing along the Gulf Coast, an area that spans about 6,800 miles. Louisiana closed areas designated for special shrimping on Tuesday.As officials are scrambling to contain the mushrooming leak, some restaurant owners are fretting about what it would mean for their businesses if oysters, shrimp, crab and finfish were not as available.

I believe that the resteraunts may have a problem on thier hands. With no seagfood comiin g in they are going to have to go off of what they already have caught and if they run out this will hurt bussniuss for all resteraunt and fishing industry in the gulf area. If this oil spill continues the way it does hurting sea life this will hurts the seafood industry in the gulf.

The Kids Meal

A California county on Tuesday became the first in the nation to ban toys from fast food kids' meals high in calories, fat, salt and sugar.Santa Clara County supervisors voted 3-2 to ban the plastic goodies as promotions in meals with more than 485 calories.

I believe that this is not such a bad idea because it will make the companies think more about making their kids meals better for the kids that eat at these fast food restaurants. I also believe this will persuade a child to pick a healthier meal for themselves and maybe in the longterm make healthier choices in their meals for the rest of the lives. This is why i believe this may be a good idea to fight against childhood obesity.

I believe that the muslims should not worry what south park shows on T.V. because they make fun of just about every religon and race their is. They have made fun of jews and Christian and mormons and non of these religons have threatend south park for doing this they have just ignored them. They have even shown jesus and moses on southpark and non of these religous fallowers have thretened them so i beileve muslims should just ignore them like all the other religons.

Last week and weekend a volcano in iceland began pumping ash and other material in the sky obove iceland and this has caused many problem . The first problem is has shut down plane transportation trough europe and the cload is only getting larger. The ash cload has now grown to be large enough to be seen from space and this is now really causing some concern. Noe sceintist think that this cload may be harmful for humans and a studying into it to see if this cload is harmful to humans and other animals.

I belive that the iceland vocano that erupepted over iceland and the put all that ash in to the air can be harmful the poeple and other animal lives. I believe this because of its something the enviroment is not used to and is no prepared for an event like this. so i do believe we could see some of the animals and forest being effected by this and may even become sick. this is why i believe the the Ash cload above iceland may be harmful to the enviroment and may be even for people.

Last weekend phil mickelson won the master but more likely you head about tiger woods return to golf. He did okay at the master but this wasnt the only focas on tiger during his game. Nike had a commercial run with tigers dad narroating and showing tiger just starring into the camera and the commercial lead the viewer to believe his dad was talking about him which was not true at all. This narroation was about parenting and he gave those lines in a interview.

I believe that nike should of found somthing else than tiger dad becasue the topic his fathe was taking abut was comlpletely differant from the thing tiger has done. I also do believe though it was a good idea for nike to air a commercial such as this because they kept sponsoring him when all other tiger sponsors where dropping. Finally it was a good idea because this got the subject out of the way so other commercail probbly more posistive with tiger to come later.

On Saturday, Apple released the newest addition to its mobile media devices The Ipad. This item is a handheld device that runs with a touch screen runs apps similar to the Ipad. This release created lines outside of apple store in wait for the release so people could purchase one. the question still remains though to purchase one as soon as it comes out or wait for apple to fix the problems that will arise and come out with a later model? Or is it even worth paying for the Ipad when the ipod touch is much cheaper and does much of the same application.

I believe that that The apple Ipad is a waste of money to purchase at this early stage and that the Ipod touch is a better way to go. Apple usually has new idea that it will put into its later models and to purchase the Ipad as soon at releases will make you regret it. I also believe that the ipad is a waste of money because it cost four-hundred dollars for and apple when a iPod touch it basically the same device but small and does not cost as much. this is what i believe about the Ipad.

Can Giving Aid to Hati hurt the country in the long run?

Hati was hit be an earth quake a few mounth ago as you may know and countries began giving aid to help the people f hati. Now they question remains is when do we stop sending the aid t hati and leave them to there indipendce. Some experts believe that if we do not slow the amount of forign aid to hait they will lose there indipendce and rely on other contries for things. They also believe if we do slow down the poeple will begin to rebuild themselves and the cournty will grow.
